Are ceramic coatings worth the cost?
Ceramic coating your paint job is worth it to protect your investment, especially if you own an exotic, or a high value vehicle. The process provides a long lasting layer of paint protection against environmental elements as well as nicks, bird droppings and scratches. Coatings aren’t for all vehicles though. How long does a ceramic coating last ?
If you are diligent about maintaining your car, it should last about 2 to 5 years at a minimum. Some of our Feynlab customers have never had to re-apply. It’s almost like having a lifetime warranty.
How often should you wash a ceramic coated car?
At Empire Auto, we advise that our clients stick to a routine washing schedule. We have seen the best results when our clients hand wash their car at least every two weeks.
Is ceramic coating good for your car?
What is ceramic coating?
It’s a semi-permanent protective layer for your car’s finish. It’s an ultra thin liquid that is applied by hand to most of the exterior surfaces of your vehicle. Will coating protect my car from scratches ?
Once the application of the coating cures, its 3x harder than the stock paint. This makes the finish of your car less prone to scratches and chips. The nano-coating can still experience some damage but it’s much more durable than no protection.
Can I coat my windshield?
